This was a tough clash against an ever-threatening & enthusiastic Ballela side, however Atticall’s sturdy defense quickly mopped up everything that came their way, as the girls in midfield covered every blade of grass to ensure the forwards had a continuous supply of the ball.
The forwards put in a tireless shift which resulted in accurate finishes. Delighted to see so many girls getting on the scoreboard with each camog playing with bravery & intent as skillful camogie was displayed with hooks, blocks & fast flowing jabs.
A credit to every player & their commitment to training. A big thank you also goes out to the 2 U12’s who stepped up to the mark to help secure the win.
We would also like wish Lottie O’Hare a very speedy recovery.
